What we do
TailsTap lets pet owners discover local, vetted service providers, book and pay for appointments online, and manage their pets’ care in one place. Providers get a storefront, a booking calendar, management tools and payouts. Card payments are processed securely by our regulated payment partner — the booking amount is captured at checkout and held in escrow, then released to the provider once the service has been delivered.
How a transaction works
Every booking follows the same protected path, from checkout to payout.
Choose a service
A customer picks a service and time slot from a provider’s profile.
Pay into escrow
The customer pays online at checkout — funds are captured and held securely in escrow.
Service delivered
The provider delivers the service and marks the booking complete.
Funds released
After the dispute window closes, the service price is released to the provider, less any marketplace introduction fee. Providers pay a monthly subscription; the introduction fee is one-off, on a customer's first marketplace booking with them.
Refunds if needed
If a booking is cancelled in time or a dispute is upheld, the customer is refunded in line with our Refund Policy.
