How we check providers, protect your payment, and step in if something goes wrong.
Every provider is checked
Every provider is reviewed and background-checked before they can take bookings on TailsTap. Providers complete identity and document verification during onboarding and are admitted at our discretion.
They must also hold any insurance, licences or qualifications their services require, and deliver them with reasonable care and skill.
Your payment is protected
Card payments are processed securely by our regulated payment partner — TailsTap never stores your full card details.
The booking amount is taken at checkout and held in escrow, then released to the provider only after the service has been delivered and any dispute window has passed.
Reviews you can trust
A review can only be left against a booking that was actually made and completed on TailsTap — there's no way to post one otherwise.
Reviews are moderated, and we may remove content that breaches our Terms.
If something goes wrong
If a service isn't delivered as agreed, raise it with the provider first — most things are sorted quickly that way.
If it can't be resolved, contact us. TailsTap operates a dispute process and may hold, refund or release escrowed funds based on the evidence provided, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
Provider badges
Providers earn a badge as they complete more checks. You'll see it on their profile, so you can tell at a glance how far a provider has gone.

Everything in Gold, and a proven track record on TailsTap: at least 4.8 average rating across 10 or more reviews, and 25+ completed bookings.
